Kunchacko Boban, born November 2, 1976, is an Indian actor. He works in the Malayalam film industry and has appeared in nearly 100 films and produced a film. He is the son of actor-director-producer Boban Kunchacko and the grandson of director-producer Kunchacko, who created the Udaya Pictures film studio.
Kunchacko Boban was born into a Christian Catholic family in Alappuzha, Kerala. He is from the Maliampurakal family, who is credited with owning the first film studio in Kerala, Udaya Studios. He is the grandson of film producer Kunchacko, who also created Udaya Studios. He is also the grand-nephew of Navodaya Appachan of Navodaya Studios. Boban is a relative of Jijo Punnose, also a director. His father, Boban Kunchacko, was also an actor, director and producer and was part of a few films produced by Udaya. Kunchacko’s mother, Molly, is a housewife. He has two younger sisters, Anu and Mini.
Kunchako Boban married Priya Ann Samuel on April 2, 2005 at Little Flower Catholic Church in Ernakulam.
